These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the Game of Life & Wealth website, platform, games and related services (“GLW”).
Game of Life & Wealth is operated by YOUNGBULL (PTY) LTD, South Africa.
By registering for, subscribing to, accessing or using GLW, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Purpose of Game of Life & Wealth
Game of Life & Wealth is a financial education, simulation and personal-development platform.
GLW allows players to enter information about their financial circumstances, make decisions, monitor progress, explore scenarios and view projections concerning their financial future.
The purpose of GLW is to help players better understand the possible consequences of financial and business decisions.
GLW is not a guarantee of wealth, financial independence, investment performance or business success.
2. Player Accounts
Players must register for an individual GLW account.
Players are responsible for providing accurate registration information and keeping their account information reasonably current.
Each player account is personal to that player and should not be shared with another person.
Players are responsible for protecting their login credentials and secure login codes.
GLW may use additional authentication methods, including one-time codes delivered through approved communication channels such as WhatsApp.
3. Player Information
GLW calculations depend substantially upon information supplied by the player.
Players may enter information concerning income, expenses, savings, debt, assets, investments, dependants, business activities and other financial circumstances.
A player understands that inaccurate or incomplete information may produce inaccurate scores, projections, warnings and recommendations.
GLW does not independently verify every financial figure entered by a player.
4. Player Roles
GLW may provide different game experiences according to a player’s selected role.
These may include:
Employee
For players primarily earning income through employment.
Self-Employed
For players earning income primarily through their own work, trade, profession or small business activity.
Business Owner
For players operating a business with more advanced business, company, capital, risk and wealth-management functions.
Additional roles and functionality may be introduced in future.
5. Subscriptions and Fees
Access to GLW may require an active paid subscription.
The intended subscription structure is currently:
Employee — R200 per month
Self-Employed — R200 per month
Business Owner — R1,000 per month
The Business Owner game may include additional functions, calculations and business-related engines not available in the Employee or Self-Employed games.
The applicable subscription price should be displayed to the player before payment.
GLW may change subscription prices in future, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice to affected subscribers.
6. Payment
Payments may be processed through an authorised third-party payment provider, including Yoco.
The payment provider may apply its own terms, privacy practices and security procedures.
GLW does not intend to store complete payment-card details where those details are processed directly by the payment provider.
Access may be activated, renewed, restricted or suspended according to the player’s payment and subscription status.
7. Cancellation and Renewal
Players may cancel subscriptions in accordance with the cancellation process made available by GLW and their rights under applicable South African law.
Where recurring or fixed-term arrangements are used, GLW will apply cancellation and renewal rules subject to applicable consumer law. In particular, South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act contains specific requirements for fixed-term consumer agreements, including cancellation and renewal provisions.
We should therefore avoid promising in these Terms that every payment is automatically “non-refundable” or that a subscription can never be cancelled.
8. Monthly Game Cycle
GLW may operate using a monthly financial cycle.
Players may update information during a current month without necessarily completing that month.
For example, a player may return during a month to record an unexpected payment, expense, investment or other financial change.
Using a function such as Save Position may update the player’s current financial information without advancing the game month.
Using Complete This Month may close the current game month, record its results and advance the player to the next game month.
Players should review their information before completing a month.
9. TODAY Position
GLW may calculate a player’s current financial position based on information supplied by that player.
The TODAY calculation may include information such as:
- Income
- Expenses
- Debt
- Savings
- Investments
- Assets
- Liabilities
- Cash flow
- Net worth
- Financial resilience
- Other relevant financial indicators
The result represents a simulation based on available information and the rules used by GLW.
10. Ten-Year Projections
GLW may provide projections of a player’s possible financial position over a period of up to ten years.
These projections may consider assumptions relating to income, expenses, savings, investments, debt, business performance, behaviour and other factors.
A projection is not a prediction or guarantee of what will actually happen.
Actual future results may differ substantially because of economic conditions, interest rates, inflation, taxation, investment performance, employment changes, business performance, personal decisions and unexpected events.
11. “DIE NOW” / Estate Simulation
Where provided, GLW’s “DIE NOW” function is intended to help a player understand the possible financial consequences if they were to die at their current financial position.
It may estimate matters such as assets, liabilities, insurance, estate value, dependants and possible taxes or costs.
This function is an educational simulation.
It is not a will, estate plan, tax opinion or substitute for advice from an attorney, fiduciary specialist, accountant, tax practitioner or other appropriately qualified professional.
12. Financial Freedom Scores and Risk Indicators
GLW may generate financial scores, risk ratings, resilience scores, behaviour indicators, achievement levels and similar measurements.
These are internal GLW educational tools.
They should not be interpreted as official credit scores, investment ratings, insurance assessments or professional financial assessments.
13. Adaptive Mentorship
GLW may provide automated educational messages, warnings, suggestions and mentorship recommendations based on information supplied by the player and their activity within the game.
These recommendations are intended to encourage learning, reflection and better decision-making.
They do not constitute personalised regulated financial, legal, tax, investment or accounting advice.
14. Scenarios and Life Events
GLW may simulate events such as:
- Income increases or decreases
- Unexpected expenses
- Employment changes
- Business opportunities
- Economic events
- Family events
- Financial emergencies
- Investment outcomes
Probabilities and financial effects shown in these scenarios are simulations and should not be interpreted as predictions that a particular event will occur.
15. No Professional Advice
GLW is an educational and simulation platform.
Nothing presented through GLW should automatically be treated as professional:
- Financial advice
- Investment advice
- Legal advice
- Tax advice
- Accounting advice
- Estate-planning advice
- Insurance advice
Players should obtain advice from appropriately qualified professionals where their circumstances require it.
16. No Guarantee of Financial Results
GLW does not guarantee that a player will:
- Become wealthy
- Become financially independent
- Eliminate debt
- Successfully start a business
- Generate investment returns
- Reach a particular net worth
- Achieve a particular financial score
- Achieve a projected ten-year result
The player’s actual results depend on their circumstances, decisions, behaviour and factors outside GLW’s control.
17. Player Decisions
Players remain responsible for their own financial, business and personal decisions.
GLW provides information and simulations to assist learning and reflection but does not take control of the player’s actual finances.
Players should independently consider the risks and consequences of decisions involving real money.
18. Privacy and Personal Information
GLW processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Because GLW may contain detailed personal financial information, players should protect their account credentials and should not knowingly allow unauthorised persons to access their account.
YOUNGBULL (PTY) LTD intends to process personal information consistently with POPIA. The Information Regulator is the South African authority responsible for monitoring and enforcing POPIA compliance.
19. WhatsApp and Electronic Communications
Where enabled and authorised, GLW may communicate with players electronically, including through email and WhatsApp.
Communications may include:
- Secure login codes
- Account notifications
- Subscription information
- Security notifications
- Birthday messages
- Service-related communications
Players are responsible for ensuring that their registered contact information remains current.
20. Acceptable Use
Players may not knowingly:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another player’s account.
- Interfere with GLW’s security systems.
- Attempt to bypass subscription or access controls.
- Introduce malicious software.
- Manipulate GLW systems for fraudulent purposes.
- Copy, reproduce or distribute proprietary GLW software without authorisation.
- Use GLW for unlawful purposes.
GLW may restrict or suspend access where there is reasonable evidence of abuse, fraud, security risk or material breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
21. Intellectual Property
The Game of Life & Wealth name, software, game structure, calculation engines, educational content, graphics, scoring systems, projections, written material and other proprietary content may be protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights.
Unless expressly permitted, players receive a personal right to use GLW and do not acquire ownership of GLW’s intellectual property.
22. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep GLW reasonably available and secure.
However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, internet failures, hosting problems, security incidents, third-party service failures or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
23. Changes to GLW
GLW is an evolving platform.
We may improve, add, modify or discontinue particular functions where reasonably necessary.
Material changes affecting subscriptions, player rights or personal information will be handled subject to applicable law and appropriate notice where required.
24. Electronic Agreement
Registration, electronic acceptance and use of GLW may form part of an electronic agreement.
South Africa’s Electronic Communications and Transactions framework recognises electronic transactions and contains rules relating to automated electronic agreements, including the ability for a natural person to review terms before agreement formation.
For that reason, when we later build the final registration screen, I recommend we include:

The words Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy should be clickable so the player can read them before ticking the box.
25. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, YOUNGBULL (PTY) LTD will not be responsible for financial losses resulting solely from a player’s reliance on simulations, projections or educational outputs as though they were guaranteed outcomes or professional advice.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African law.
26. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any dispute concerning GLW will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law and the rights available to the parties.
