PERSONAL FINANCIAL SIMULATION SYSTEM – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective Date: September 2026
Welcome to Youngbull and the Personal Financial Simulation System.
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Personal Financial Simulation System (“the System”) provided through Youngbull.co.za.
By purchasing access to, registering for, or using the System, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- PURPOSE OF THE SYSTEM
The Personal Financial Simulation System is designed to help users better understand their current financial position and the possible future consequences of their financial decisions.
The System may use information supplied by the user to simulate and analyse matters such as income, expenses, debt, savings, assets, liabilities and financial behaviour.
The System may provide financial projections, scenarios, educational information, observations and suggested actions to assist users in making better-informed financial decisions.
The System is a financial education, simulation and decision-support tool. It does not guarantee financial success, increased wealth, debt reduction or any particular financial result.
- YOUR INFORMATION
The quality and usefulness of the System depend on the accuracy of the information supplied by the user.
Users are responsible for providing accurate and reasonably complete information. Incorrect, incomplete or unrealistic information may result in inaccurate simulations, projections or recommendations.
- FINANCIAL SIMULATIONS AND PROJECTIONS
Any projection, forecast, scenario or calculation produced by the System is a simulation based on information supplied, assumptions and calculations.
Future circumstances may change. These may include income, employment, business performance, expenses, inflation, interest rates, taxation, investment performance, legislation, family circumstances, economic conditions and unexpected life events.
A simulation or projection is not a guarantee of a future financial result.
- NOT PROFESSIONAL FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, TAX OR LEGAL ADVICE
The Personal Financial Simulation System is an educational and decision-support system.
Information, simulations, suggestions and projections provided by the System should not automatically be regarded as personalised financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice.
Where professional advice is required, users should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
Users remain responsible for their own financial decisions.
- USER RESPONSIBILITY
The System can provide information, identify potential problems, simulate possible outcomes and suggest actions. However, the System cannot take action on behalf of the user.
Financial improvement normally requires the user to make and implement appropriate decisions.
The user remains responsible for deciding which actions are suitable for their circumstances and implementing those actions.
- THREE-MONTH MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
Youngbull provides a voluntary 3-Month Money-Back Guarantee for qualifying users of the Personal Financial Simulation System.
If you use the System consistently for a minimum period of three months and believe that it has not assisted you in improving your financial understanding, financial decision-making or financial position, you may apply for a refund subject to the conditions below.
6.1 GENUINE USE OF THE SYSTEM
To qualify for the voluntary guarantee, the user must have made a genuine and reasonable effort to use the Personal Financial Simulation System during the three-month period.
Simply purchasing access to the System without reasonably using it does not qualify a user for the voluntary money-back guarantee.
6.2 ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE USER
A user requesting a refund may be required to explain or demonstrate what reasonable actions they took during the three-month period to improve their financial position.
This may include:
- How regularly the Personal Financial Simulation System was used.
- Which recommendations, suggestions or actions identified by the System were implemented.
- What changes the user made to spending, debt, saving, budgeting, income, assets or other relevant financial behaviour.
- Which recommendations were not followed and the reasons why they were not followed.
- What other reasonable steps the user personally took to improve their financial position.
6.3 FOLLOWING THE SYSTEM’S RECOMMENDATIONS
A user claiming under the voluntary guarantee must demonstrate a reasonable attempt to implement appropriate recommendations or actions identified through the System.
A refund under this voluntary guarantee will not normally be granted where the user:
- Did not reasonably use the System.
- Substantially ignored appropriate recommendations without reasonable justification.
- Provided materially incorrect or incomplete financial information.
- Took no reasonable action to improve their financial position.
- Used the System in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.
6.4 REASONABLE EXCEPTIONS
A user is not required to follow any recommendation that would be unlawful, unsafe, unaffordable or clearly inappropriate to their circumstances.
If a recommendation could not reasonably be followed, the user may explain this as part of the refund application.
6.5 REFUND APPLICATION
A refund request under this voluntary guarantee must be submitted after completing the required three-month use period and must include sufficient information for Youngbull to assess whether the conditions of the guarantee have been satisfied.
Youngbull may review relevant System usage records and information voluntarily supplied by the user in support of the refund request.
Each application will be assessed reasonably and according to its individual circumstances.
6.6 STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS
The 3-Month Money-Back Guarantee is an additional voluntary guarantee offered by Youngbull.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any rights or remedies that a consumer may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law.
- NO GUARANTEE OF FINANCIAL SUCCESS
Youngbull does not promise or guarantee that using the Personal Financial Simulation System will make a user wealthy, eliminate debt, increase income, produce investment returns or achieve any particular financial outcome.
The purpose of the System is to provide greater financial awareness and assist users in making better-informed financial decisions.
- PAYMENT AND ACCESS
Users must pay the applicable price displayed at the time of purchase unless access is provided under a free trial, promotional arrangement or other authorised arrangement.
Payment provides access according to the subscription or access conditions applicable at the time of purchase.
Users may not share, resell or provide unauthorised access to their account.
- SYSTEM AVAILABILITY
Youngbull will make reasonable efforts to keep the Personal Financial Simulation System available and operational.
However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, hosting problems, internet failures, technical faults or circumstances outside Youngbull’s reasonable control.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Personal Financial Simulation System, including its software, calculations, design, structure, educational material, graphics, text, processes and other original content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing access gives the user permission to use the System for personal purposes. It does not transfer ownership of the System or its intellectual property to the user.
- PRIVACY
Youngbull aims to collect only information reasonably required to operate the System and provide the service.
Information provided by users will be handled in accordance with the Youngbull Privacy Policy and applicable South African privacy legislation.
Users should never provide passwords, banking PINs or other authentication credentials to the System.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Youngbull will not be responsible for financial losses resulting solely from decisions made by a user based on simulations, projections or information generated by the System.
Users remain responsible for evaluating their own circumstances and obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by South African law.
- CHANGES TO THE SYSTEM
Youngbull may improve, update, modify or expand the Personal Financial Simulation System from time to time.
Features, calculations, interfaces, educational material and functionality may therefore change as the System develops.
- ACCEPTABLE USE
Users may not use the System for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the operation or security of the website, copy protected material without permission, or intentionally damage the System or other users.
- TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION
Youngbull may suspend or terminate access where a user materially breaches these Terms and Conditions, attempts to misuse the System, compromises its security or engages in unlawful activity involving the System.
Any termination remains subject to applicable consumer law.
- SOUTH AFRICAN LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions is intended to deprive a consumer of rights provided by applicable South African consumer legislation.
17. THREE-MONTH MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
Youngbull may offer qualifying users of the Personal Financial Simulation System a three-month money-back guarantee, subject to the conditions contained in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
To qualify, a user must make a genuine and reasonable effort to use the System during the three-month period. This includes actively using the System, providing reasonably accurate information, reviewing the guidance and recommendations provided, and taking reasonable and practical actions to improve their financial position.
A refund is not automatically granted merely because a user’s financial position has not improved. The user may be required to demonstrate what actions were taken, which recommendations or suggested actions were followed, and how the System was used during the three-month period.
Where a recommendation could not reasonably be followed, the user may explain the circumstances.
Full eligibility requirements and refund procedures are contained in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Nothing in this guarantee limits any rights available to consumers under applicable South African law.
